The teaching and understanding of the basis of these “Self-Evident Truths” is the intellectual battle that had been all but lost in education, the media, science, and the law. The eternal perspective of a Creator giving meaning to life and liberty is the one and only perspective that can re-direct us back toward our founding principles. All other debates and battles in defense of our rights, even if won, can only create temporary changes that will not stop our nation’s continuing regression away from individual liberty, individual rights, and the loss of America as we know it.

The answer is not to teach creationism as science for creationism is not science. Nor is creationism religion as it is sometimes portrayed. Creationism is far closer to philosophy.
