Renewing ideas that are as dramatically different than we currently believe as a nation will take a generation or greater. It is not you who will necessarily benefit. You must see this as for your children and their children. It is not a quick fix or feasible to do quickly. When these words are taught with justification and conviction in our schools and universities, then the seeds are planted. You must plant the seeds, cultivate them, nourish them, hope for the right weather, and then maybe, just maybe, if God smiles upon this work, the seeds will bear fruit.
It is easy to walk away right now and look at this as not your responsibility. 10 or 20 years from now, as civilization worsens as the progress toward liberty can not get ahead of the forces against liberty, it will be because the effort was not strong enough now. You can not be free as our founders envisioned if this nation does not believe in individual liberty. People’s ideas must change. Unhappily and realistically, it will take years.
