Tier 1 Institute provides training for leaders, teachers, parents and students to re-anchor, re-align, and re-attach the founding ideas in the “Declaration of Independence” to the “Constitution of the United States of America”. Without this re-anchoring, the constitution will drift as it is buffeted by politics and majority rule, which by themselves are un-anchored. To re-anchor the constitution requires re-justifying the idea that a Creator must exist, so that one can state, therefore:
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”
The teaching and understanding of the basis of these “Self-Evident Truths” is the intellectual battle that had been all but lost in education, the media, science, and the law. The eternal perspective of a Creator which gives meaning to life and liberty, is the one and only perspective that can re-direct us back toward our founding principles. All other debates and battles in defense of our rights, even if won, can only create temporary changes that will not stop our nation’s continuing regression away from individual liberty, individual rights, and the loss of civilization as we know it.

- The Existence Questions (Tier 1): Scientists and Intellectuals are powerfully driving disbelief and skepticism about the basis of religion and faith. Best sellers like “The God Delusion”, “The End of Faith”, the irreligious movie “Religulous”, as well as billboards and posters are springing up attacking religion and glorifying atheism. Today in America, religion is not a fit topic of knowledge to discuss and share in a public school, an institution of learning. What message does this send about faith, especially the faith you bring your children up to have? However, many questions that people assume science has answered, or faithfully assume one day science may answer, are unknowable. At root, to believe that all the questions of life can be answered by science requires a faith-based, narrow-minded, one-sided, perspective. To oppose this view, the idea of teaching creationism is being promoted. Creationism is a reaction against the unjustified faith-based dogmas of science. The answer is not to teach creationism as science for creationism is not science. Nor is it religion as sometimes portrayed. It is far closer to philosophy. Yes, this is all highly confusing. Tier 1 Institute provides answers to these vital questions and how to effectively address them in the data driven 21st century.
- The Foundation of America: Could we have written and accepted a “Declaration of Independence” with the same words, “Endowed by a Creator” in today’s politically correct and secular environment? Obviously, the answer is no, and America is no longer America. This means our anchor rope is cut between our Founding Ideas and the Constitution. Ideas are eternal. The constitution as a written document is changeable. Because we as a nation are no longer tied to an eternal idea, this means we are drifting, at the mercy of politics and majority “RULE”. The reasons behind the “unique” words our founders used in the “Declaration of Independence” are re-justified and aligned with their original and eternal intention. Without this understanding, the eternal idea of America as once envisioned cannot exist.
- Social and Political Implications (Tier 2): There is great polarization on many issues in political thought and social agenda in America today. Tier 1 Institute provides the learnings needed to take highly informed, robust, leadership stands on issues such as: morality, liberty, school choice, abortion, political spectrum, tax policy, etc. They are common sense positions. - The Future: Many of us despair to not leave a diminished America to our children. We are willing to sacrifice so at bare minimum we pay our own way. Our inner voice knows we need to leave better or else we are words best left unstated. Do we wish to be known as the most “Lazy and Wasteful” generation in American history? The time for apathy in our political process is past. We know we must balance the budget by dramatically reducing all spending and eliminate our debt. Increasing taxes will burden future generations. Spending reductions that can ultimately lead to lower taxes will create wealth. We must fundamentally rethink social security, medicare and all entitlements, and strictly limit the involvement of government in our life to eliminate the corruption of politicians, corporations and lobbyists. We need to sacrifice for the future. There is no choice; this is but a self-inflicted tragedy.
